History of Netball Bermuda

Netball Bermuda (NB) located on the subtropical island of Bermuda engrossed with natural beauty and famous for its pink-sand beaches and crystal-clear shades of blue waters, was formed by a group of netball enthusiasts looking to develop and grow the sport across the island in 1974 and known as Bermuda Netball Association. Up until approximately 2020 netball was known as the only all-female sport on the island, until the integration of the Switch Up Mix Up Tournament which saw an influx of men wanting to be a part of the sport that balances athleticism with high game intelligence and endurance, leading to the implementation of a Co-Ed Division in their Summer League. NB Senior Women’s National team comprises of a highly athletic and committed group of people affiliated with the association as players, coaches, administrators and/or all the above. These lovers of netball are true ambassadors of their sport and island home known for its family friendly people and love of Country!
